OUR ENLISTMENT PROCESS IS SIGNIFICANT

At the Youth Military Coalition (YMC), we offer a unique opportunity for young people to develop essential life skills, discipline, leadership, and the ability to succeed in a competitive world.  Through a combination of military-style training, education, and personal development programs,  YMC aims to transform the lives of its participants,  shaping them into future leaders who are equipped with the knowledge and skills

STEP 1

The Interview Process

The first step to joining YMC is a thorough interview involving both the child and their parents. We believe personal development begins at home, so parental involvement is essential.

Parent Evaluation:

We assess parents’ motivations—whether they seek discipline, structure, or accountability for their child—and their willingness to actively support the program. This includes providing transportation, attending events, and applying YMC values at home. Parents are expected to grow alongside their child.

Child Evaluation:

We evaluate the child’s ability to follow instructions, handle stress, and meet physical demands. We also assess their openness to discipline and personal growth.

Families approved for the program will receive next steps by email or mail. If not approved, a letter will be sent with reasons for denial and recommended resources for future preparation.

STEP 2

Youth Military Coalition Evaluation Bootcamp (YMCEB)

The second phase is an 8-week Evaluation Bootcamp, held every Saturday for 8 hours. This intensive training tests the child’s ability to follow orders, work under pressure, and thrive in a structured environment.

Child Training:

Modeled after military bootcamps, YMCEB emphasizes discipline, critical thinking, teamwork, and personal accountability. Children are pushed mentally and physically, helping them build leadership, respect, and resilience.

Parental Commitment:

Parents are evaluated as well. We observe their support for their child’s progress and their willingness to adopt structure at home. Many parents find this phase equally transformative, gaining a new perspective on their role in their child’s development.

Y.M.C ENLISTMENT PROCESS

After completing the Youth Military Coalition Evaluation Bootcamp (YMCEB), students will be placed on reserve status, which requires them to report for training on scheduled dates twice a month.  During this time, the student can also participate in additional elective classes offered by YMC.

Throughout this process, recruits must adhere strictly to YMC standards, obeying all instructions from our instructors, contractors, and higher-ranking personnel. They will also be given a list of regulations that must be followed without exception. Parents are encouraged to address any concerns they may have with our instructors professionally, ensuring that any issues are resolved with the utmost respect and decorum.

Y.M.C MISSION

At YMC, our mission is to inspire, educate, and empower future leaders. We expect nothing less than excellence from our recruits, and our interview process is the first step in ensuring that only the most dedicated and capable individuals join our ranks. Parents, it is your responsibility to get your children to the unit on time and ready to meet the challenges ahead.
